Information you provide
When you request an estimate, we collect your name, phone number and/or email address, job type, job details and any photos you choose to attach. Please do not include sensitive personal information in job details or photos.
How the website handles information
We use your information to respond to your request, prepare estimates, arrange appointments and provide service updates. The website runs on Cloudflare and uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent abuse. Cloudflare processes technical information for hosting and security. Estimate details and attached photos are sent through a Google Apps Script relay to our Google Workspace mailbox at contact@essnyc.com. The website also loads fonts from Google Fonts.
Text-message consent
The SMS checkbox is optional and starts unchecked. Entering a phone number alone does not give permission to send text messages. We record checked, unchecked or missing consent separately, along with the time our server receives the submission, the form source and the consent wording/version when provided. These records accompany the estimate email. An unchecked or missing choice is not an SMS opt-in. This form does not request marketing consent.
Sharing
We do not sell customer personal information. We do not share SMS opt-in information or consent with third parties for their own marketing. Service providers may process information to operate the website, deliver estimate emails and provide business communications. Our messaging service is Quo; telecommunications providers also process information needed to deliver texts.
Storage and your choices
Estimate emails, photos and consent evidence are retained in our business mailbox. The relay also keeps temporary request records for duplicate-send protection; records older than seven days are cleared during later submissions. That cleanup does not delete the mailbox copy. This website does not automatically delete the mailbox copy. Contact contact@essnyc.com to request access, correction or deletion, or to ask about retention. We will review your request and any records we need to retain for business or legal purposes. We do not promise a fixed deletion deadline.
Stopping texts
Reply STOP to opt out of texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact contact@essnyc.com or (646) 846-7144. You can request an estimate and receive service without agreeing to texts. See our SMS Terms for the service-text program.
Updates
We may update this policy. The version on this page applies to new submissions. Policy version: ess-service-sms-2026-10-19-v1.
